Pre-Wedding Swan Valley Mountain Formals

3 reasons to book your bride and groom formal session before the wedding day!

1- You'll have your ideal first look: The first time you and your soon-to-be spouse see each other is a sacred moment. It's so personal and special. It's just you two. And it will never happen again! Enjoying this moment before your formal session works as a great option to ensure you have the experience you've been dreaming of!

2-More time for bride and groom portraits: Wedding days are beautiful and magical! They are also on a timeline, which other people are a part of, which can rush your portrait time sometimes. Formal sessions give us a relaxed time frame and ideal lighting for couple portraits, as well as the option to choose a stunning location! We have so many places to choose from in our area including Mesa Falls, Island Park, or Grand Teton National Park, to name a few! You'll have less stress if your wedding day timeline gets crunched and more time celebrating with the people you love!

3-Portraits to share and display at on your wedding day: Another pro to booking your formal session before your wedding day, is you'll have your portraits back in time to make prints and display on your wedding day! This beautiful couple, Jordan and Jessica were able to print close to fifty of their formal portraits and display them at their backyard wedding/reception . It was so fun to see their favorites on display to share with their friends and family. Can you tell I'm a BIG fan of separate formal sessions!

Bonus - It's good practice for the big day! So many brides have realized something at her formal session she needed to prepare for on her wedding day! Like a change in alterations due to her dress not fitting right when she moved, or one changed her mind about her wedding day hair style, or one realized she just wanted to wear comfy shoes under her dress! It's so nice to have a practice run!

Jordan and Jessica are an absolutely beautiful Idaho couple who live close to the mountains and love adventure. Naturally they chose to book their bride and groom portraits in one of my favorite mountain landscapes, Swan Valley, Idaho! (About 30 min from Jackson Hole, Wyoming). We chose two different locations, and I loved them both! The light was gorgeous, glowy and nice and warm. It was a perfect evening! This session turned out so beautiful and they had so many images to choose from!
