Beautiful Winter Bridals

It took a long time for these two to find each other but thank heavens they finally did! They are a match made in heaven! Chad proposed to Natalie on their warm and sunny Cancun vacation, so it's only fitting that they chose February for their bridal session. Mix things up a bit right?! Why not! Island Park is one of my favorite locations for winter sessions. Don't get me wrong, Island Park is stunning ANY time of year, but it never disappoints in the winter! On the day of their session the weather and location were ideal. The trees were sleepy in their snow covered blankets, and the air was still and peaceful. Like it didn't want to wake mother nature. It was absolutely perfect.

Natalie and Chad were such troopers for their wintery bridal session! They both grew up in cold weather climates so they were pretty unphased. Although a few years in New Mexico softened Chad to the cold a bit, haha. He's a tough guy so he was a good sport. Also, he got to see his GORGEOUS bride for the first time at their first look! Of course he was a happy man! Natalie was stunning in her wedding gown with all the pretty details, including a pearl bracelet gifted to her by her dad when she was 15. The gift was actually a set that came with a pearl necklace too. Unfortunately the necklace broke as she was putting it on before the session! No worries though, at least it wasn't her wedding day! Right?! It'll be fixed up and ready for their big day in a couple weeks! phew! Growing up Natalie kept the set in a box, saving them to wear for her wedding. Occasionally she'd peek at them and dream of that life changing day! Such a beautiful,sweet, and meaningful gift she finally gets to wear!

These two are so sweet, kind, patient, and head over heels in love with each other. They've waited so long to say "I do", and I couldn't be happier for them!
